Projects Galore (Part 1) Ego-Networks of Women with Advanced Cancer →

Another Network Workshop!

Posted on September 11, 2012 by milesott

I was just doing a little catching up on the Simply Statistics blog and I came across a mention of another Network Analysis Workshop: Social Network and Social Media Analysis: Methods, Models and Applications which is a part of the NIPS (Neural Information Processing Systems) 2012 meeting.    This meeting takes place in Lake Tahoe from December 3-8.  I can think of worse places to be in early December!  Just to drive that point home, here is an official video promoting the conference:

The day-long network workshop is being organized by Edo Airoldi, David Choi, Khalid El-Arini, and Jure Leskovec.  The deadline for submitting papers is October 15, and they will be awarding prizes for exceptional papers submitted by students.

This Winter semester is becoming laden with network analysis workshops, fortunately this is my favorite way for a semester to be!
